New Orleans, LA
The city of New Orleans is a vibrant city that boasts some of the greatest entertainment and finest cuisine in the world. Residents welcome tourists to the city with hospitality and flair. But in 2005, Hurricane Katrina swept through New Orleans with devastating results. Eighty percent of the city flooded—much of it completely destroyed—leaving thousands of people homeless. Your group has a unique opportunity to partner with local ministries in their amazing recovery efforts. You’ll help wherever you are needed most, through work projects, children’s ministry and more.

| It's our third year of summer camps and Summer Camp Aide applications are now being accepted. To be a camp aide, you must have your parent's permission to work if you are sixteen or under, exhibit good judgment and self-discipline, be highly motivated to work with children ages 5-12 and able to maintain a professional Christian attitude. These are paid positions, and although camp aides have lots of fun, they are expected to workdiligently each day assisting out campers under the direction of our Camp Teaching Staff. If you would like to apply for a Camp Aide position please contact Marca Scott by email at mscott@ilctemple.org and request an application. A limited number of positions are available. |

Chattanooga, TN
Nicknamed the “Scenic City,” Chattanooga is a southern gem that offers the best of nature’s beauty and adventure. The beautiful landscape, marked by the Tennessee River and surrounding highlands, offers hang gliding, hiking, mountain biking and more. The city has received national praise for its riverfront redevelopment and its affordable housing program. Your junior-high group can help in the continued revitalization efforts through home repair; and shine the light of Jesus as you visit the elderly and participate in children’s ministries.
